Which certification you need

The procedure for this country is changing. We check current requirements before starting work.

Thailand has acceded to the Apostille Convention, which enters into force for it on 28 February 2027. Until then, consular legalisation is required.

The procedure

  1. We check which documents the receiving authority needs, and in what form.
  2. We obtain the apostille or complete legalisation with the Russian authorities.
  3. We translate the document and have the translation notarised.
  4. Where needed, we file with the consulate and return the documents to you.

Frequently asked questions

Can a copy be apostilled for Thailand?

Often yes — a notarised copy. Some authorities require an apostille on the original, though. We confirm the requirements before starting.

Should the translation be done in Russia or abroad?

It depends on the receiving authority. Some countries accept a translation certified by a Russian notary; others require a sworn translator. We advise and arrange either option.
